• Double technology access control reader: proximity and
keypad.
• Integrated within the Cityline aluminum panel.
• Flush mounted (ref.8854, including box) or surface
installation (ref.7064, optional).
• Recommended for interior and exterior use.
• Reader and controller integrated within the same module.
• Operates independently or combined as a system for greater
security.
Independent Operation:
- Proximity: allows the door to be opened when the card
or proximity keyring is swiped.
- Keypad: allows the door to be opened when a
pre-programmed 4 to 6 digit code is entered.
System operation for greater security:
card + PIN code (4 digits only).
Can operate as a stand-alone or centralised system.
Congurable using dipswitches (SW2).
Configuration as a CENTRALISED MDS-CAC system:
• Capacity of up to (based on chosen operating mode):
- 1.020 cards/keyrings/codes/card+PIN codes
with MDS central unit (ref.2405).
- 2.048 cards/keyrings/codes/card+PIN codes
with CAC central unit (ref.4410).
Acoustic and visual confirmation using status LEDs
which advises if the card swiped has been accepted or
rejected.
Programming is done using the relevant PC software to
the central unit installed (ref.2405 or ref.4410).

TECHNICAL FEATURES
• Does not require physical reader-card contact.
5cm (card) or 1.5cm (keyring) reading distance.
• Acoustic and visual status data.
• Lock-release button input, door sensor input and lock-
release relay (C, NO, NC, potential free).
• Reader-Central Unit Wiring: 2 wires (power supply) +
shielded twisted pair (data). On a system with various
readers these can be connected in cascade.
• Includes a dipswitch (SW1) for conguration:
- Door Number: the access/door number (0..31).
- Lock-Release Opening: Opening Time (seconds):
* On MDS via dipswitch
* On CAC software conguration.
CN3 Connector: Keypad Connector.
• The lock-release can be connected directly to the reader
and for maximum security system it is better to use relay
decoders.
CENTRALISED
1. Card without magnetic strip (ref.23361); 2. Card with magnetic strip (ref.2336);
3. Proximity keyring (ref.44501).
