Power Supplies
When selecting the appropriate power supply you must keep in mind the consumption of all system elements, in particular the lock-
release. It is recommended that you use a magnetic-thermal switch which is not shared with any other piece of equipment to avoid
disconnection of the power supply as a result of overload.
It is recommended that an emergency power supply (battery) is used to avoid door blocking/unblocking where there is a power cut.
In centralised systems with large distances, it will be necessary to install additional power supplies at the access in order to avoid
voltage drops in the wiring.
REF. 4800 POWER SUPPLY 12VAC/1.5A
Recommended for stand-alone readers when an alternating lock-release is to
be used. DIN4.
REF. 8791 EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY 12VAC/1.5A
Incorporates a Ni-CD 750mA battery. In emergency situations it provides
a 12Vdc power supply. The power supply is responsible for maintaining the
battery fully charged. DIN10
REF. 4813 POWER SUPPLY 12VAC/2A
General power supply for Centralised system. DIN6
REF. 2060 BATTERY ADAPTOR 12V
Installed between the 12Vdc power supply and the system. Has a connection
for an external Lead-acid battery. If the voltage falls below 11Vdc the battery
automatically connects.
REF. 2070 BATTERY 12V/2.2A
Lead-acid battery for small systems with no maintenance or for a single access
power supply.
REF. 2337 BATTERY 12V/7A
Lead-acid battery for large systems with no maintenance.
