PC management modules for centralised systems
Conguration of the system's operating mode, activation and deactivation of users and restrictions put in place should be done on
the PC and communicated to the Central Unit to allow these to work autonomously. The information generated by the system (events)
should be communicated to the PC in real time. To establish these connections you must connect the PC to the Central Unit.
This connection can be done locally or remotely using one of the following devices:
REF. 2338 RS-232 TO RS-485 ADAPTOR
• Connection between the PC and the Central Unit
(or Central Unit Network).
• The modem can also be connected to the
Central Unit for remote control.
• PC Connection: RS-232 max. 30m (3 metre cable included).
• Central Unit Connection: RS-485 (twisted pair). Max. 1,200m.
• DIN6 Format (surface assembly and DIN rail). 230 Vac power
supply.
REF. 24661 USB TO RS-485 ADAPTOR
• Connection between the PC (USB) and the central unit.
• Direct power supply from the USB.
• Includes a driver.
REF. 2466 RS-232 TO RS-485 ADAPTOR
• Address and decoder parameter programming
from the PC.
• System maintenance for systems without a permanently
connected computer.
• Includes an RS-232 cable with DB-9 connector for PC
connection.
REF. 1087 IP ADAPTOR
• Communication between management PC and the installation
using IT network (Ethernet), avoiding additional wiring.
• Connection to central unit by programmer (ref. 2466).
• An IP address must be congured to connect to the network
using the software included.
• Remote management via Internet if the protection devices
(Firewall) in the IT installation allow it (specialized personnel
required to configure router for Internet access).
• Power supply 230Vac by adaptor included.
• Ethernet connection RJ45.
