Technical and Automation Alarms
SENSORS - TECHNICAL ALARM DETECTION
Different sensors can be connected to the system (up to
1.000 per Central Unit) to carry out automated activities based
on the source of the detection. The sensors should be potential
free contact such as for example: button switches, magnetic
contacts, volumetric detectors, photoelectric devices, etc.
These sensors are managed using the "SENSOR DECODER”,
which has capacity for 8 inputs and is connected to the Central
Unit via the decoder bus from which it is powered up.
The NA or NC operation mode should be congured in addition to
the type of trigger (instantaneous or delayed up to 127 minutes).
For each group (100 sensors) the actions to be taken are detailed
below:
• Communicate the incident to the guard unit (control/security
unit).
• Activate one or various relays (ref.2430) (always the same or if
in sensor function it may be different).
• Convert the relay status.
• Monitor the incident on the control computer.
• Activate the lock-release from a particular door.
• Ensure the action is mirrored by the activation of another
sensor (double signal to avoid false triggers).
The sensors can be enabled and disabled during a certain
timeframe using the schedule planner or from the access control
readers, when the user presents the id badge associated with a
particular sensor.
The most frequent sensor applications are the following:
• Technical Alarms. Alarm messages on the control PC. Fault
power cut, water leak, intruder, etc .....
• Setup of button panels for device activation
Device Timing: vehicle barriers, door opening, entrance hall
lighting, etc.
• Door Locking based on the status of other doors.
