7.1 Speed mode
7.1.1 Function: Speed adjustment
In the speed mode, the motor controller receives the speed setpoint value via the control interfac e
(fieldbus/analogue input/Festo Configuration Tool (FCT)). The regulator cascade (speed and current
regulator) processes the deviation between the “speed setpoint value” and the “actual speed value”
and thus controls the output stage and the connected motor. The speed setpoint value ramp can op-
tionally be activated.
