For ac voltage, the Product only generates a sinusoidal signal.
XWWarning
To prevent possible electrical shock, fire, or personal injury,
make sure the Product is in Standby while making connections
to the OUTPUT HI and LO; or the ZL, ZGND, RCD terminals.
Lethal voltages can be present on these connectors during
Operate.
3. Referring to the TERMINALS area of the display, connect the DUT to the
Product.
4. If necessary, set the output value using the keypad, cursor keys, or rotary
knob.
5. After confirming the correct settings and connections, push to connect
the DUT to the selected voltage.
With the voltage applied to the DUT, the voltage setting can be changed
using the cursor keys, rotary knob or keypad.
XWWarning
To avoid electric shock, ensure the Product is in standby before
touching the OUTPUT HI and LO terminals. Whenever the
output voltage is above 30 V ac or dc, the icon appears in the
display.
6. When finished, push to remove the voltage from the OUTPUT HI and LO
terminals and DUT.
In the Voltage calibration mode, the Product output is either grounded or
ungrounded. When the output is grounded, the Product LO terminal is connected
internally to PE or the ground connection of the power cable connector and the
Product chassis. An ungrounded or floating output opens this connection through
an internal relay. See Figure 20.
AC voltage can be synchronized to line frequency. Synchronization setup is
available using the Sync softkey.
Note
The Product has electronic overload protection and disconnects the
output terminals when the output current exceeds the maximum
allowed current. A current overload message is also displayed when
the Product becomes overloaded.
