■ Hexadecimal expression
A 4-bit binary number can be expressed in hexadecimal format (hexadecimal digit). The Table 3.4-7 below shows
the correspondence between the two notations.

3.4.4 Checking I/O signal status “I/O Checking: 4.i_o”
Using menu number 4 “I/O Checking: 4.i_o” displays the I/O status of external signals including digital and analog
I/O signals without using a measuring instrument. External signals that can be displayed are digital input/output
signals and analog input/output signals.
Table 3.4-8 shows “I/O Checking” items, and Fig. 3.4-2 below shows “I/O Checking” menu transition.
The monitor number and symbol are displayed alternately every 1 second.
