10.9.3 Security
The Security page allows you to configure security settings for the ETERNUS CS800,
including access passwords, SSL settings, and the inactivity timeout.
To access the Security page, click the Configuration menu, and then click the Security
tab.
The Security page contains the following tabs:
l "Access Control" on page 337
l "SSL" on page 351
l "Data Encryption" on page 353
l "Login Session" on page 355
l "Security Notice" on page 355
l "Storage Encryption (Scale model only)" on page 356
Access Control
The Access Control Settings page allows you to change the account passwords for the
remote management console (GUI) and the command line interface (CLI).
Access Control Levels
The ETERNUS CS800 has the following access levels for logging onto the remote
management console or the GUI:
Access Level Description
Graphical User Interface (GUI)
GUI Administrator Allowed to view and change information on the ETERNUS
CS800 remote management console.
GUI Monitor Allowed to view information on the ETERNUS CS800
remote management console but cannot make changes.
All pages are view only.
GUI Service Allowed to view and change information on the ETERNUS
CS800 GUI. The Access Control page is view only.
Command Line Interface (CLI)
Viewer Allowed to view information on the ETERNUS CS800 CLI
but cannot make changes.
Administrator Allowed to view and change information on the ETERNUS
CS800 CLI.
