Ê Remove the defective optical disk drive as described in section "Removing
an optical disk drive (ODD)" on page 258.

Ê Remove the fixation plate from of the left side of the optical disk drive.
Figure 178: Attaching the fixation plate to the optical disk drive
Ê Attach the fixation plate on the left side of the new optical disk drive.
Ê Install the new optical disk drive as described in section "Installing an optical
disk drive (ODD)" on page 240.
