The menu Networking->Routes->IP Routes->New consists of the following fields:

Field Description
Extended Route Select whether the route is to be defined with extended para-
meters. If the function is active, a route is created with extended
routing parameters such as source interface and source IP ad-
dress, as well as protocol, source and destination port, type of
service (TOS) and the status of the device interface.
The function is activated by selecting #/.
The function is disabled by default.
Fields in the Route Parameters menu
Field Description
Route Type Select the type of route.
Possible values:
• * ; (default value): Route to a network.
• 1/ ; : Is used if no other suitable route is avail-
able.
• @& ; : Route to a single host.
Destination IP Ad-
dress/NetmaskDestina-

mask
Only for Route Type @& ; or * ;
Enter the IP address of the destination host.
In Route Type = * ;, you additionally enter the
corresponding netmask in the second field. If no entry is made,
your device uses a default netmask.
Interface If necessary, enter the interface to be used for this route.
Network Type Not for Route Type = 1/ ;
Also select the network type.
Possible values:
• 1% (default value):
• in the LAN: You define another IP address for the interface.
