DANGER!
All operations must be done exclusively with the
tractor off, P.T.O. disengaged, parked with
parking brake and with the key removed.

In order to clean the machine, it may be necessary to
open the protection grids inside the hopper. Proceed as
follows (see Fig. 4.21).
1. Loosen the two screws on the grid side of the lock.
2. Open the lock to allow lifting of the grid.
3. Lift the grid.
To close the grid:
1. Lower the grid.
2. Close the lock.
3. Tighten the two screws on the grid side of the lock.
4.7.5 Loading the hopper
DANGER!
All operations must be done with the tractor off,
P.T.O. disengaged and the tractor parked with the
parking brake. Respect the machine and tractor
maximum load.
To load the hopper, proceed as follows.
1. Open the hopper-covering tarp (optional). See §
4.7.6.
2. Remove any foreign objects in the hopper or on the
protection grid.
3. Make sure the outlet shutters are closed.
4. Read the instructions and safety indications provided
by the fertiliser manufacturer and use appropriate
PPE.
5. Fill the hopper with the protection grid closed.
6. Fill the fertiliser spreader to the maximum, up to the
edge.
7. Close the hopper-covering tarp.
CAUTION!
To lift the bags of fertiliser, use appropriate lifting
means with a sufficient lifting capacity for the
load.
CAUTION!
Fill the fertiliser spreader only when it is hitched
to the tractor. NEVER park or move the fertiliser
spreader when it is full. It MUST always be empty.
4.7.6 Hopper-covering tarp (optional)

All operations must be done exclusively with the
tractor off, P.T.O. disengaged, parked with
parking brake and with the key removed.
To open the hopper-covering tarp, proceed as follows (see
Fig. 4.22).
1. Unhook the hooking tie rods (A)
2. Activate the opening lever (B)
To close the tarp again, repeat the above operations in
reverse order.
