Parameters
seconds: Sets the traffic polling interval of the storm control module, ranging from 1 to 300 seconds.
Description
Use the storm-constrain interval command to set the traffic polling interval of the storm control module.
Use the undo storm-constrain interval command to restore the default.
By default, the storm control module polls traffic statistics every 10 seconds.
For network stability, use the default or a higher polling interval.
NOTE:
The interval set by the storm-constrain interval command is specific to storm control. To set the statistics
polling interval of an interface, use the flow-interval command.
Examples
# Set the traffic statistics polling interval of the storm control module to 60 seconds.

Parameters
ratio: Sets the unknown unicast suppression threshold as a percentage of the port transmission capability,
ranging from 1 to 100. The smaller the percentage, the less unknown unicast traffic is allowed to pass
through.
pps max-pps: Sets the unknown unicast suppression threshold in pps to limit the number of unknown
unicast packets passing through the Ethernet port per second.
• For a Gigabit port, the value range is 1 to 1488100.
• For a 10-Gigabit port, the value range is 1 to 14881000.
kbps max-bps: Sets the unknown unicast suppression threshold in kbps to limit the number of kilobits of
unknown unicast traffic passing through the Ethernet port per second.
