Prepare Reagent 3
Reagent 3 is supplied as a liquid and a powder that must be mixed together before use. The
approximate shelf life of the prepared reagent is 4 months.
1. Remove the cap from the new liquid bottle #R3.
2. Put the funnel in the new liquid bottle #R3.
3. Add the powder to the liquid.
4. Tighten the cap on the bottle.
5. Invert the bottle again and again until the powder is dissolved.
6. Remove the cap from the bottle. Discard the cap.
7. Tighten the analyzer cap assembly on the bottle.
8. Put the bottle in the analyzer.

N O T I C E
Do not use the SiO
2
citric acid reagent (R2) if the reagent freezes or is turbid. Keep the citric acid reagent (R2)
away from direct sunlight.
