Remote PHY DOCSIS node installation
• Adhere to minimum bend radius requirements specified by the cable manufacture
Tools
• Adequate eye protection
• Torque wrench with 6-point 1/2" socket
• Medium Phillips screwdriver for stinger screws
• Diagonal cutter and file to chamfer cut connector edges
• Appropriate tools for cable connector installation
1. After assembling each cable with its stinger connectors, cut the cable stinger with the diagonal cutter
to size using the stinger cut gauge located on the side of the node housing; file down as needed.
Use adequate eye protection.
