Tools
• Torque wrench with 6-point 1/2" socket
• Soft, damp cloth
1. If necessary, clean the rubber gasket around the circumference of the housing base flange and the
metal-braided EMI/EMC shield around the lid flange with a damp soft cloth.
TIP: A small desiccant bag may be placed in the node prior to closing to help with any residual
moisture.
2. Begin rotating the lid toward the base until you reach one-third closure; then stop rotating.
3. While holding the lid in the one-third position, gently push the internal RF cables toward the center of
the node.
4. Continue closing the lid until the base and lid flanges align taking care that no cables are pinched
between the flanges.
