Daily Semiannually
Clean all Lateral Arm components with a disinfectant after
use.*
Make sure that all locks and controls function and move
smoothly.
Make sure the Lateral Arm and the position indicators are
not bent.
Make sure that the Lateral Arm locks in position onto the
Affirm system.
Inspect the Needle Guides for form, fit, and function.
All Components: Inspect for loose or missing hardware.
Perform QAS Procedures once each day before use of the
system.
Make sure that all labels are readable and properly affixed.
*Call Product Support for the current list of recommended cleaning solutions.
Perform QAS Procedures after installing a different Lateral Arm.
