Removing the Power Supply Fan
The power supply fan is mounted on the power supply slide. See
Figure 4-7.

1. Follow the instructions for Removing the Power Supply.
2. Remove the power supply’s primary section shielding. Gently bend
back the lip of the shielding to release it from the metal nose, then
pull the shielding gently up, and lift it away.
3. Disconnect the fan cable 5403.
4. Remove the 4 screws securing the fan to the rear panel.
Remember the guidance of the cable for refitting the fan.
Keep the four clips and screws in a safe place for refitting the fan
again.
5. Remove the fan by gently pulling it out of its location.
