A.5 Using Modules
How to Fit and Remove Modules
You can use two types of module:
• Front-loadable modules - these modules fit in the four module
slots at the front of the HP 8164A Lightwave Measurement
System or the two module slots at the front of the HP 8163A
Lightwave Multimeter.
• Back-loadable modules - these tunable laser source modules fit
in the large module slot at the rear of the HP 8164A Lightwave
Measurement System.
