5.7 How to Use Auxiliary Functions
Automatic Realignment
Automatic Realignment realigns the laser cavity after Laser
Protection. You should use Automatic Realignment if you have
already tried to reactivate the laser and to reduce power, and this has
been unsuccessful.
To realign the laser cavity:
1 Move to the Tunable Laser channel and press MENU.
2 Move to <REALIGN> and press [OK]. You will see the screen in
Figure 5-19.
3 Wait approximately15 minutes. This time dependson howmuch
the wavelength of the instrument has drifted since the last
Automatic Realignment was performed.
