Step 2 Remove the original bottom plate, as shown by (4) in Figure 6-76.
Step 3 Take out the bottom plate of the new
ngerprint and card reader with a keypad
and secure it.
Step 4 Connect the cable.
Step 5 Secure the
ngerprint and card reader with a keypad to the bottom plate.
Step 6 Congure the new ngerprint and card reader with a keypad by following the
instructions provided in the document delivered with it.
Step 7 Choose Monitoring > System > ECC800-Pro > Controls and delete the device
failing in communication.
Step 8 Refer to the section about commissioning the in-room access control system in the
installation guide and check that the
ngerprint and card reader with a keypad
functions properly.

Prerequisites
● Recommended tool: Phillips screwdriver
● A
ngerprint and card reader needs to be replaced.
● A spare
ngerprint and card reader of the same model is available and
functional.
