3.12.3 Installing the Water Pipe Adaptor
Context
Installing the water pipe adaptor for pipes routed from the bottom is similar to installing it
from the top, give the top installation for an example.
When removing the plug, do not touch the plug directly to prevent being burned.
Removing the Plug for the Pipe Routed from the Top
Step 1 Use a heat gun to heat the screw threads on the pipes for 3–5 minutes until the thread rubber
softens.
Step 2 When removing a plug, use one adjustable wrench to hold the bolt firmly, and use another to
loosen the plug, as shown in Figure 3-19.
Step 3 Remove residues from the screw threads using a steel brush and then clear the screw threads.
Ensure that the residues do not fall into the water pan.
