7.10 24xE1 Cable
This section describes the structure and technical specifications of the 24xE1 cable.
7.10.1 Overview
The E1 interface on the NE40E uses 100-ohm trunk cables. One end of the 24xE1 cable is
connected to the E1 electrical interface on the device using the D-100 connector; the other end
of the 24xE1 cable is connected to the Digital Distribution Frame (DDF) using a connector
that needs to be made as required on site.
