Two fan modules each containing one fan are located side by side at the air exhaust vent. If a
single fan fails, the system can still work normally for a short period of time at ambient
temperature of 40°C ( 104°F ). Figure 3-12 shows the appearance of a fan module.

Table 3-6 describes the indicators on the fan module.

If the indicator blinks, the
fan module is working
normally.
If the indicator blinks, the
fan module, PEM, or
filtering box is faulty.
