Example: Set “SKIP” to Memory channel “009.”

Rotate [DIAL] to select
the memory channel.
Push [QUICK]

“SKIP” is set.
The channels set as “SKIP” or “PSKIP” skip channels
are skipped (not scanned).
See page 13-8 for details of clearing the skip set-
ting.
Push [M/CALL] q one or more times to select the
Memory mode.
Rotate [DIAL] to select the memory channel to be w
set as a skip channel.
Push [QUICK] e .
Push D-pad( r ) to select “SKIP” or “PSKIP,” and then
push D-pad(Ent).
• OFF : Cancel the skip setting.
• SKIP : Skipped during a memory scan.
• PSKIP : Skipped during both VFO and memory scans.
Push D-pad(Ent) to save the selection. t
• The skip setting is set.
