MST
The Maritime Safety Terminal (MST) performs all mariner interactions with
the Maritime Safety Data Service (MSDS), including the processing of vessel
generated Distress Alerts that are initiated by the dedicated distress button.

Maritime Safety
Terminal
Sets the maritime service function.
• MST Connection: Set the maritime service by toggling the activation button
(Enabled/Disabled).
• Server: Enter the listening port number in the JSON-RPC server.

MST Handset
Configuration
• Incoming Distress Call Alert: This function is not available for setting activation
button because it is fixed as Enabled.
• Incoming Normal Call Alert: Set the nomal call alart by toggling the activation
button (Enabled/Disabled). Click the Apply button to apply the settings to the
system.

Profile List
Displays the profile list for safety service using MST.
Refer to the “8.8.8 Service Profile” on page 81 to edit details.
