Chassis alarms—Indicate a problem with a chassis component such as the cooling system or PSU.
Interface alarms—Indicate a problem with a specic network interface.

Table 29 on page 81 describes alarms that can occur for a rewall chassis component.

at startup, the rewall
automacally boots from
the alternave boot
device (USB storage
device).
If you congured the rewall to
boot from an alternave boot
device, ignore this alarm
condion.
If you did not congure the
rewall to boot from an

JTAC.
Yellow (minor)
Hardware components on
the rewall
The rewall chassis
temperature is too high.
Check the room
temperature. See
"Environmental
Requirements and
Specicaons for
SRX1600" on page 35 .
Check the airow. See
"Clearance Requirements
for Hardware Maintenance
of the SRX1600" on page
36 .
Yellow (minor)
The rewall fan has
failed.
Place your hand near the
exhaust vents at the rear of the
chassis to determine whether
the fan is pushing air out of the
chassis.
