GNDU - Ground Unit
The B1505A is equipped with the ground unit (GNDU). The GNDU is a 0 V
constant voltage source, and used for the reference of measurement ground. Also the
GNDU can sink up to ±4.2 A, so it is effective for using the HPSMU, MPSMU, and
HVSMU. When the HCSMU, MCSMU, HVMCU, or UHCU is used, the GNDU
must be connected to the Low side to apply the reference zero voltage. The GNDU
is not used with the UHVU. Figure 2-1 is a simplified circuit diagram of GNDU.
