This is the basic measurement for BER versus the sampling point delay,
which is displayed as a “Bathtub” curve and is integrated with the M8070A
software during the startup. The measurement comes with the set of
acquisition and evaluation parameters which are used to configure the
measurement run. The acquisition parameters can only be configured
before the measurement starts (i.e., you cannot change the value of the
acquisition parameter while the measurement is running); however, the
evaluation parameters can be configured at any time even while the
measurement is running.
