l Select the [SOURce:]VOLTage:MODE ARB parameter to enable the instrument to generate arbit-
rary voltage waveforms when the transient system is initiated and triggered.
l Select the [SOURce:]CURRent:MODE ARB parameter to enable the instrument to generate arbit-
rary current waveforms when the transient system is initiated and triggered.
[SOURce:]ARB:FUNCtion:TYPE <type>, (@<chanlist>)
[SOURce:]ARB:FUNCtion:TYPE? (@<chanlist>)
This command replaces the previous [SOURce:]ARB:FUNCtion command and should be
used in new applications. [SOURce:ARB:FUNCtion is still available for backward
compatibility
Selects either a voltage or current ARB. Only one type of ARB may be output at a time.
Parameter Typical Return
CURRent | VOLTage, *RST VOLTage <type>
Specify an Arb type on channel 1: ARB:FUNC:TYPE CURR, (@1)
[SOURce:]ARB:TERMinate:LAST <Bool>, (@<chanlist>)
[SOURce:]ARB:TERMinate:LAST? (@<chanlist>)
Determines the output value when the ARB terminates. The state is either ON (1) or OFF (0).
When ON The outputvoltageor current remains at the last ARB sequence value. Thelast voltage or cur-
rent ARB value becomes the IMMediate value when the ARB completes.
When OFF The output returns to the settings that werein effect before theARB started. This also applies
when the ARB is aborted,
Parameter Typical Return
0|OFF|1|ON, *RST Off 0or1
Sets the ARB to terminate with the voltageor current set at the last ARB value:
ARB:TERM:LAST ON,(@1)
l The query returns 0 if the output returns to the settings that were in effect before the ARB started,
and 1 if the output voltage or current remains at the last ARB value.
