Youcanuseone,twoorthreedisplaysonyourEK80ProcessorUnitdependingon
personaland/oroperationalpreferences.ThedisplayisnotastandardpartoftheEK80
delivery.Thisisacommercialitemthatcanbepurchasedlocally.
AnycommercialdisplaycanbeusedwiththeEK80Widebandscienticechosounder,
providedthatthedisplaymeetstheminimumrequirements.Thechosendisplaymustbe
designedformaritimeuse,anditmustmeettheminimumperformancespecications.
Youmustalsomakesurethatthechosendisplaysupportsthevideoformatsprovidedby
theProcessorUnit.

IfthedistancebetweentheProcessorUnitandyourseconddisplayisconsiderable,we
suggestthatyouuseKVM(KeyboardVideoMouse)technologytopreservethevideo
quality.

positioncanbepresentedintheuserinterface.Itwillalsoprovidelatitudeandlongitude
informationforthecursorandmarker(s).Inadditiontonavigationaldata,theglobal
positioningsystem(GPS)canalsobeusedtoprovidespeedinformation.
