Thetopside/bridgecablesincludethoseusedtoconnecttheEK80ProcessorUnitandthe
displaytoeachother,toACmainspower,andtoexternaldevices.Onehighcapacity
EthernetcableconnectstheProcessorUnittotheWideBandTransceiver(WBT).
Procedure
1Connectthepowercables.
aConnectthepowercablefromthedisplaytotheACpoweroutlet.(C1)
bConnectthepowercablefromtheProcessorUnittotheACpoweroutlet.(C2)
StandardcommercialACmainscablesareused.Eachcableissuppliedwiththe
relevantunit.Thetypicalcablelengthisbetween1,5and2meters.Ifthisistoo
shortyoumustuseanextensioncable(not
recommended),mountanewpower
outletwithinrange,ormakeyourownpowercablewithsufcientlength.

2Connectthegroundcables.

3ConnectthevideocablefromtheProcessorUnittothedisplay.(C5)
Thedisplaycableisoftenphysicallyattachedtothedisplay,andterminatedinthe
“computerend”withamaleconnector.Ifthecableisnotattached,itisnormally
providedwiththedisplay.
ThegraphicadapterontherearsideoftheProcessorUnitprovidestwoDVI
connectors,oneforHDMIandtwoforMiniDisplayPort.Choosetheconnector
thattsyourdisplaycable.Ifyouhavetwodisplaysbothcanbeconnected
simultaneously,andcanusetheoperatingsystemfunctionalitytosetupdifferent
presentations.
Keepthedisplaycableasshortaspossible.Ifthecableistoolong,itmaypickup
electricnoise,andthiswillreducetheimagequality.
