About the microSTATION’s programs
OnthemicroSTATION,a“program”isthebasic
sound.YoulluseProgrammodetoplayprograms.
ProgramsarealsousedoutsideofProgrammode.
InCombinationmodeyoucancombinemultiple
programstocreatecomplexsounds.
InSequencermodeyoucanassignaprogramtoeach
MIDItrackoftheinternalsequencer,orusethe
microSTATIONasasoun
dmodulethat’splayedfrom
anexternal16channelMIDIsequencer.
Inthissectionwe’llexplainbasicwaystouse
programs,suchasusingthepanelbuttonsinProgram
modeandbasicediting.

Youcanselectaprograminanyofthefollowingways.
•UsetheCATEGORYSELECTbuttonsandthe
buttonsorthefunction01–16buttons

Using the CATEGORY SELECT buttons
and the  buttons
1. PresstheMODEPROGbutton(theLEDwilllight).
YouwillenterProgrammode,andthePROGPLAY
pagewillappear.
Thelowerlineofthedisplayshowstheindex
numberandthenameoftheprogram.
The“”shownattheleftoftheindexnumber
indicatesthatyoucanpressthebuttontoselect
programswithinthecurrentcategory.Ifais
shownattheleftofthenumber
,thatcategory
containsonlyoneprogram.
Note: IftheGlobal/Mediamode“ScrollText”setting
isOn,namesetc.thatcannotbeshowninthe
displaybecauseoftheirlengthwillscroll.
2. UsetheCATEGORYSELECT
buttonstochooseaprogram

Youcanchoosefromthefollowingninecategories

ThefrontpanelCATEGORYindicatorsshowthe
selectedcategory.
Thefirsttime youselectacategory,program001of
thatcategorywillbeshown.

2. PressthefrontpanelNUM
LOCKbuttontoturnNum
Lockon(LEDlitup).
3. Usefunctionbuttons01(1)–10
(0)toenteranumericalvalue,andthenpressthe
14(ENTER)button.Youllswitchtotheprogram
oftheindexnu
mberyouspecified.
Selecting programs in groups of 16
1. UsetheCATEGORYSELECTbuttonstochoose
thedesiredprogramcategory.
2. TurnthefrontpanelPLAY/MUTE,NUMLOCK,
andGRIDSEQbuttonsalloff(LEDunlit).
