Loading the preloaded data
Theoriginalpreloaddataisbackedupinthe
microSTATION,soyoucanrestoreanyorallofthe
Programs,Combinations,DrumKits,UserArpeggio
Patterns,andGlobalsettingstotheiroriginalfactory
settings.
ToreturnthemicroSTATIONtoitsfactory‐setstate,
youcanloadthepreloaddatafromanSDcardto
whichyoucopiedit,ordumpthedat
atothe
microSTATIONfrommicroSTATION/Plug‐InEditor
runningonaUSB‐connectedcomputer.
Thepreloaddataisprovidedontheaccessorydisc
includedwiththemicroSTATION.Youcanalso
downloadthelatestdatafromthefollowingwebsite.

Loading procedure
1. InsertyourSDcardintothemicroSTATIONʹscard
slot,andformattheSDcardasdescribedin
“Formattingmedia”onp.62.

microSTATIONdoesnotneedtobefo

ted.
Whenyouformatmedia,alldatasavedonthat
mediawillbeerased.Pleasecheckthecontentsof
themediabe f or eyouformatit.
WhenyouformattheSDcard,thefolderstructure
“KORG”‐“MICRO_ST”willbecreatedonthecard.

microSTATION’spower.
ThemicroSTATIONwillbeinitialized,anddatawill
bewrittentointernalmemory.Whiledataisbeing
written,thedisplaywillindicate“Initializing...”
