programaresenttotheinserteffects.Youcanuse
effecttypessuchasdistortion,compressor,equalizer,
andwah.
Master effects
MastereffectsettingsaremadeinPROGEDIT:MFX.
Effectssuchaschorus,reverb,anddelayaremost
suitableforusewiththemastereffects.
Theoutputofeachoscillator,oftheentireprogram,or
ofthesoundthathaspassedthroughtheinserteffects
canbesentvia“Send1”and“Send2”tothetwomaster
effects.
Anyeffecttypecanbeused.
Total effect
TotaleffectsettingsaremadeinPROGEDIT:TFX.The
totaleffectistypicallyusedwitheffecttypessuchas
compressor,limiter,orEQthataddafinishingtouchto
theoverallsound.
Assigning functions to knobs
Foreachprogram,youcanusePROGEDIT:
KnobAssigntoassignthefunctionthatknobs1–4will
performwhenrealtimecontrolmodeBisselected.
1. InPROGPLAY,pressthebuttontoenterPROG
EDIT.
2. Usethebuttonstoaccess“KnobAssign,”and
pressthebutton.
3. Pressthebuttontochooseknob1.
4. Usethebutto
nstoselectthefunctionthat
willbecontrolledbyknob1.
5. Pressthebuttontoreturntotheknobselection
screen.
6. Usethebuttonsandbuttontochooseother
knobsandassigntheirfunctionsinthesameway
asyoudidforknob1.
Whenyou’vefinishedassigningthefu
nctionsof
knobs1–4,returntoPROGPLAY,selectrealtime
controlmodeB,andtryusingtheknobswhileyou
play.
Automatically importing a
program into Sequencer mode
TheAutoSongSetupfunctionautomaticallyapplies
thesettingsofthecurrentprogramtoasong.
Thismeansthatyoucaninstantlysetupasongusing
theprogram’ssettings,andthenbeginrecording
simplybypressingtheStart/Stopbutton.Sincea
performanceusingtheprogramsarpeggiatorcanbe
seamlesslyshiftedtosongproduction,thisletsyou
instantlycreateasongtocapturephrase
s,inspirations,
andideasthatoccurredtoyouwhileplayinga
