GLOBAL EDIT
GLOBAL EDIT
Any changes to seings that are made from the global screen will apply to the
entire RK-100S.
GLOBAL
Master Tune [430.0Hz...450.0Hz]
Adjusts the overall pitch in 0.1 Hz steps, in terms of A4 as the reference pitch.
Use this when you need to tune the pitch of the RK-100S to other instruments.
Transpose [–12...+12]
Adjusts the overall pitch in steps of a semitone (100 cents) over a range of one
octave up or down. Use this when you want to transpose to suit the song you
are playing.
Velocity Curve [1...8, CONST127]
Dierent velocity curves allow you to tailor the response of the keyboard to your
own playing style. Lighter curves are best for heavy-handed players, higher curves
may work beer for players with a light touch.

This curve requires you to play strongly in order to produce
an eect.

5 |
6
This curve produces an eect without requiring you to play
very strongly.
7
This curve produces a fairly steady eect with lile change
for medium-strength playing.
8
This curve produces a fairly steady eect with lile change for
medium-strength playing (a aer curve than 7).
CONST127
All notes will sound at maximum velocity (127). This seing
mimics the behavior of early analog synths.
Curves 7 and 8 produce lile change for medium-strength playing. However,
these curves will produce a great deal of change with soly played notes, so they
may be more dicult to control. Choose the curve that is most appropriate for
your playing dynamics or for the eect you want to obtain.
Position [Post KBD, Pre TG]
This species the internal routing for MIDI IN/OUT on the RK-100S. This includes
the transmission/reception of MIDI data as well as the handling of arpeggiator
data changes.
Post KBD: The data received from the external MIDI device is sent to the timbre
without being aected by the GLOBAL seings. The data output from the
keyboard is converted by the GLOBAL seings and sent to the MIDI OUT
connector via the arpeggiator.
Pre TG: The data output from the keyboard is sent to the MIDI OUT connector
without being aected by the GLOBAL seings and the arpeggiator.
Battery type [Alkali, Ni-MH]
This allows you to select the type of baery to be used.
Alkali.: Alkaline baeries
