17.3.1 Checking and adjusting the feed position

The feed position has been optimally set when the distance between the feed rocker arm(1)
and stop(2) is X=3–5mm. As a result, the wrapping material is optimally accepted by the round
bale.
 Move the feed rocker arm(1) to the saved feed position on the round bale.
 Switch off the tractor, remove the ignition key and take it with you.
 Check whether there is a distance of X=3–5mm between the feed rocker arm(1) and the
stop(2).
If the distance is not X=3–5mm, set and save the feed position again as follows:
 Start the tractor.
 Move the feed rocker arm in the direction of the feed position until the feed rocker arm (1)
has approached the stop(2) up to a distance of X=3–5mm.
 Save the new position.
