Avoid drafts during the measurements. Do not place the instrument in the
vicinity of cooling or heating systems or ventilation units.

Avoid large variations in room temperature during the measurements.

Avoid contamination of the sample liquid by atmospheric air (e.g. by exhaust
from machines).

Place the unit on a level, stable, and vibration-free base. Check if the base is
level using a bubble level or spirit level.

5.4 Levelling the instrument
After positioning, the DSA100 must be levelled. For levelling, two spirit levels are
located on the bottom of the standard sample table support.
1. Remove the sample table adapter from the sample table.
2. Remove the two clips (if present) from the sample table support.
3. Turn the sample table support over.
4. Adjust the height of the four feet of the measuring system until the air bubbles
in the two spirit levels are located between the markings in the middle.
