12 Humidity chamber HC10
The HC10 Humidity Chamber is used together with a TC30 or TC40 environmental
chamber.
12.1 Temperature range and method of temperature control
The humidity chamber HC10 can be used in a temperature range between 5 and
90°C.
It is possible to operate the TC40 environmental chamber alone with the
Humidity Chamber HC10 connected.
!
The maximum permissible temperature is reduced to 120°C when an HC10
chamber is connected.
If a TC40 is used then the Peltier element is not used for temperature control.
Instead the temperature of both environmental chambers is controlled by an
external thermostat.
12.2 Notes for use
In order to prevent condensation at the windows the humidity should be set
after the required measuring temperature has been reached.
After using, the environmental chamber should stay open and be continuously
heated where appropriate in order to dry it internally.

12.3 Assembling the interface board
If Humidity Chamber HC10 is not acquired together with the DSA100, but is
delivered subsequently, then an interface board and the connection socket for the
HC10 must additionally be built into the DSA100.
