4. Select the syringes one after another (except the one marked with M) and carry
out the menu order Reset Position (DSA1) respectively Reset Syringe
(DSA3/DSA4) for each syringe. The syringe drivers are moved into their start
positions and initialized.

10.2 Inserting the syringes

1. Select the first syringe in the DSA1/DSA3/DSA4 software ( Chapter 10.1).
2. In order to remove air from the refill tube the dosing valve must be switched to
channel the liquid from the syringe to the refill tube.
For DSA1: Select the tab sheet Refill from the Device Control panel. Click on
the Valve Position for Dosing button. The button label changes to Valve
Position for Refill.
For DSA3/DSA4: Open the drop-down menu for syringe selection. Select the
menu item Tools Toggle Switch Syringe Valve. The next time the menu is
opened a dot indicates that the valve is switched to the refill tube.
