Humidity chamber HC10 page 85
Gas connector for condensation protection
Connect compressed gas for condensation protection if required
( Chapter 11.5.2).
!
The gas connection on the TC30/40 chamber should only be used when the
observation window is actually affected by condensation. The additional flow of
air reduces the atmospheric humidity that can be achieved and reduces the
accuracy of the humidity control.
12.5.2 Power supply / Communication
Connect the connector on the rear of the HC10 to the corresponding connector
on the rear of the DSA100 (left-hand connector plate when viewed from the
rear).
12.6 Filling / Filling level
The required liquid volume is 40 mL.
Remove the screw marked in the illustration.
Fill the chamber to the top with demineralised water.
!
Use only demineralised water to prevent calcification.
!
When the chamber is less than one-third full with water its performance falls off
rapidly. During operation you should check the filling level about once every
three hours and top up with water as necessary
