b. If a network adapter is installed on the front I/O expansion board module, remove it. See
“Remove a network adapter” on page 179.
Step 2. Disconnect all cables from the front I/O expansion board module.
Step 3. Disengage the front I/O expansion board module from chassis.

Press the release latch on the cross bar.
b.
Slide the front I/O expansion board module toward the rear of the chassis to disengage the
module from guide pins.

Step 4. Removing the front I/O expansion board module.

Lift up the front end of the front I/O expansion board module to tilt the module.
b.
Remove the module from the chassis.
