After you finish
1. Reinstall the fan cage. See “Install the fan cage” on page 144.
2. Reinstall the front I/O expansion board module. See “Install the front I/O expansion board module” on
page 277.
3. Reinstall the network adapter. See “Install a network adapter” on page 180.
4. Reinstall the 2.5-inch drive cage assembly. See “Install the 2.5-inch drive cage assembly” on page 269.
5. Complete the parts replacement. See “Complete the parts replacement” on page 328.
Complete the parts replacement
Go through the checklist to complete parts replacement
To complete the parts replacement, do the following:
1. Ensure that all components have been reassembled correctly and that no tools or loose screws are left
inside your server.
2. Properly route and secure the cables in the server. Refer to the cable connecting and routing information
for each component.
3. Reinstall the air baffle. See “Install the air baffle” on page 135.
Attention: For proper cooling and airflow, reinstall the air baffle before you turn on the server. Operating
the server with the air baffle removed might damage server components.
4. Reinstall the top cover. See “Install the top cover” on page 226.
5. If the sever was installed in a rack, reinstall the server into the rack. See “Install the server to rack” on
page 127.
6. Reconnect the power cords and any cables that you removed.
