Pressing the upper part of the pedal moves the machine forward, while pressing the lower part with the heel moves it backward. The machine is equipped with a variable displacement axial piston pump driven by a Perkins 403J-E17T diesel engine. This pump supplies oil to two-speed hub motors located in the front wheel hubs, allowing for stepless adjustment of driving speed.
