6.2 Electric system maintenance
Precautions for performing maintenance on the electric system!
► Always disconnect the battery cables before carrying out maintenance work or repair on the electric system.
► When removing the battery cables, always disconnect the grounding cable (-) first.
► When connecting cables, ensure the correct connections.
► Always connect the positive cable (+) first and only then the grounding cable (-).
WARNING
Smoking and lighting a naked flame in the immediate vicinity of the
battery is expressly forbidden!
