Ensure that the engine is stopped. Ensure that the main power switch is in the OFF position. Ensure that the cooling
system is full.
The clearance between the cover (2) and the fan (1) will require checking. The gap between the edge of the cover and
the tip of the fan blade must be checked in four equally spaced positions. Correct gap is 5 mm (0.19685 inch).
