Operating the system

Processing the m aterial
The following phases are executed automatically and the required tools are picked up
from the tool magazine:
If the spindle motor has not run yet, a 2-minute warm-up phase is started.
DrillFiducial: The processing head picks up the Spiral Drill to drill the fiducials.
MarkingDrills: The processing head picks up the Universal Cutter for center
punching the drill holes.
DrillingUnplated: The processing head picks up various drilling tools to drill the
holes.
MillingBottom: The processing head picks up various milling tools to mill the
conductive tracks.
If you are using a cleaning device you can load it like a tool. The system will
automatically put a drill ≥ 0.8 mm into the cleaning device after drilling. Alternatively,
you can manually start cleaning by clicking in the machining view on .
Turning the material over (phase FlipMaterial)
1. Remove the adhesive tape.
Risk of injury by sharp edges!
When handling the base material, sharp edges can cause cuts and puncture wounds.
Always wear protective gloves.
2. Lift the material.
3. Turn the material over along the x axis.
4. Fasten the material with adhesive tape.
5. Click on [OK].
The machining view changes. The orientation of the layout is adapted to the
orientation of the material. The side of the material to be processed is now the top
side.
The material has been turned over.
Searching fiducials
In the phase ReadFiducialsTop, the fiducials are recognized by the camera.
If the fiducial search is started for the first time since the start of the program, the
camera auto-focuses initially one time. The camera automatically moves to the
positions of the fiducials and recognizes them.
If the PCB is placed approximately at the same position as before, the fiducials should
be found automatically and their positions should be stored. The Top side has thus
been aligned to the Bottom side.
