6.3.3 Processing the material
This chapter describes how the material is processed based on the prepared data.
This is done by executing the following steps:
Placing and fastening the material on the processing table
Starting processing
Defining the material settings
Placing the layout
Processing the material
Turning the material over (phase FlipMaterial)
Searching fiducials
Processing the material (Top side)
Health hazard by gases or dusts!
Processing materials can produce gases or dusts hazardous to health.
Process only materials that are approved by LPKF.
Only work with an extraction system that is switched on and is working properly.
Burn hazard by hot surfaces!
During processing, some system components can heat up so much that direct
contact can cause burns.
Always wear your personal protective equipment.
Risk of injury by sharp edges and points!
Improper handling of the tools used can cause cuts and puncture wounds.
Always use the delivered insertion tool.
Always store the tools in the tool box.
Never touch the processing head during operation.
Risk of injury by sharp edges!
When handling the base materials, sharp edges can cause cuts and puncture
wounds.
Always wear protective gloves.
