STEP DOWN TRANSFORMER - ELECTRIC STACK DRYERS
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or electrical shock.
Electric stack dryers will have a step down
transformer in the collar to provide power to
the control board and will not have an auto
transformer.
Unplug dryer or disconnect power.
Turn off gas supply to dryer.
Remove the step down transformer
(See page 4-54).

Set ohmmeter to the R X 1 scale.
Set digital ohmmeters to lowest scale.
Touch the meter test leads to the terminals
listed below:
Pins GY2 & BK3 = 27 Ω
Pins GY2 & WH1 = 45 Ω
Pins BK3 & WH1 = 74 Ω
All readings ± 5%
