Remove two 1/4” hex head screws that
secure the gas valve bracket brace to the
base of the dryer and remove the brace.
Remove two 1/4” hex head screws under
the gas valve bracket.
Grasp the gas valve and bracket and move
it side to side while pulling the bracket out to
release the tab on the bracket that holds the
back of the bracket in place.
NOTE: Make sure not to bump the ignitor
while removing the gas valve and bracket to
avoid breaking the ignitor.

Remove the lower service panel

Remove the ignitor wire connector
(See page 4-40).
Remove the two gas valve coil connectors
(See page 4-41).
Remove the high temp thermostat and high
temp cutout connectors
(See page 4-39) .
Remove the 1/4” hex head screw at the
back of the dryer that secures the gas pipe
bracket to the dryer cabinet.
