Remove lower service panel
(See page 4-22).
Remove two wire connectors from the
thermal fuse.
Remove two 1/4” hex head screws.
NOTE: The thermal fuse is non resettable.
The thermal fuse in 50 Hertz electric heat
dryers is larger than that in other dryers.
Gas dryers have a long white thermal fuse.

REMOVE THERMAL FUSE
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.

Remove lower service panel
(See page 4-21).
Remove two wire connectors from the
thermostat.
Remove two 1/4” hex head screws that
secure the thermostat to the blower
housing.
NOTE: These screws are very short so
as not to protrude into the blower housing
where they could catch lint.
TECH TIP:
The low temp operating
thermostat always sits lower on the blower
housing.
